Summer Camp Activities

Our vast range of programs and activities makes Pioneer Camp appealing to children and teens. We encourage campers to try new and exciting activities that are challenging and fun. Exploring the beautiful outdoors (more than 300 acres worth!) with friends and swimming in Shoal Lake are a part of each fun-filled day at camp. Through high energy and interactive campfire times, daily cabin devotions and the example of our staff, campers will have the opportunity to discover what the Bible has to say about Jesus and our relationship with God. Campers participate in a variety of instructional and recreational activities based on their preferences.

Departures and Arrivals

Bus departures and arrivals meet at the east parking lot (off Burmac) of the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd. Campers should arrive at the church 30 minutes to an hour early on the start date of camp, so that they can be signed in and have their luggage loaded onto the busses. On the end date of camp, buses arrive at the same location at about 4pm. Please see the bus table to see when you should arrive at the drop-off and pick up.

Please note, there is construction on Highway 17 this year, which may cause delays for the pickup at the end of camp. There will be a Pioneer Camp staff at the church ahead of the buses, with updated information if the bus is running late.
